There will be motorcycle, sidecar and quad oval ice races on Sunday, January 27 at Dodd’s Lake, Innisfail. A youth
category and adult category will be racing, starting at 11:00 AM.
For those unfamiliar with Dodd’s Lake, it is located 20 minutes drive south of Red Deer on QE 2, then west into Innisfail. The lake is located on the Northwest corner of town.
Admission is $5 per person, or $10 per carload. If you like racing, come take a look. Pick up a drink at the concession, and stop by the pits to see the last minute racing preparations.
For a first person view of what it’s like to be in the race, check out this Helmet Cam Video From February, 2007.
