Extreme wind chill conditions are imminent or occurring in these regions. Be aware of these conditions and look for recent updates.
Wind chill values are below minus 40 for most of the province. Winds will slow down but temperatures will stay cold for the time being. Average snowfall in Alberta was 5 to 10 cm, although drifting may increase depths.

Weather for the rest of this week is forecast to be cold, with temperatures down to -30. Light snowfall until Wednesday. Sunshine Thursday and Friday, with a high of -11 on Fri.
